The Hampshire Township recognized that the community was lacking a gathering place available to its residents. In 2012, the Township built a community building that also houses its administration offices. The primary purpose of the building is for the public, and we have kept our rates reasonable for that reason.
Transportation is available to seniors over the age of 60 and disabled individuals to medical appointments. The Township has scheduled routes to Elgin, St. Charles, Huntley, Sycamore and Marengo.
